09/2018 The Steward-UKIRT HSC-DEEP Images and Catalogs

This catalog contains photometry information of UKIRT NIR data in the HSC-DEEP fields: the ECOSMOS (J,H,K-bands), DEEP2-3 (J,K) and ELAISN1 (H) fields. The photometry is derived using Sextractor. The J,H,K-band magnitudes are in AB system.

In each DEEPFIELD (i.e. ECOSMOS/DEEP2-3/ELAISN1), two directories (/catalogs and /images) are used to store the extractor-derived catalogs and mosaic images. Each WFCAM# tile covers 0.75 square degrees.

C) flags

18. FLAG_EDGE - FLAG_EDGE=1 if the object is close to the edge, where the total exposure time is significantly less than the inner region.

19. FLAG_CXTALK - crosstalk flags. Flagged (FLAG_CXTALK=1) if the object is at the expected crosstalk  location.  The object is likely to be spurious.

This file contains the zero-point of the mosaic image, and 2”(3”) aperture correction for point sources.  The zero-point is calibrated using the UKIDSS LAS survey (Lawrence+06) in the ECOSMOS and DEEP2-3 field, and using the 2MASS stars in the ELAISN1 field.

The columns are:

04. ZPT - the zero-point of the mosaic image (in AB). 
05. APCORR_2 - The fraction of total flux within a 2” aperture for point sources. (i.e. to obtain the total flux of a point source using #_FLUX_APER2: #_FLUX_TOTAL = #_FLUX_APER2/APCORR_2) 
06. APCORR_3 - The fraction of total flux within a 3” aperture for point sources.
